Federal Revenue Act amended

 

Following a formal review of the original Federal Revenue Act as well as the systems and measures that would be used to coordinate the new A1 economics system a minor amendment has been pushed through to tweak the bill. The Amendment, sponsored by the Minister for Finance and the Interior James Wilary, passed the Chamber this evening with five members (Corby, Fish, Pendergast, Smith and Wilary) all supporting the motion.

The Chamber;

Noting the recent issues arising from the application of the Federal Revenue Act 2012,
Noting the trouble it would take to tax all forms of income from the Newpoints system,
Desiring to keep use of the system simple and efficient,
Wishing to change current laws in order to meet these ends,

1. Revokes Sections 1, 3, 4 and 12 of the Federal Revenue Act 2012,
2. Decides to levy an income tax on income generated from the Newpoints system,
-A. “Income” is defined as the collective value from: the earning of money through a wage or payment and in monetry gifts of greater than 25 newpoints,
3. Determines the rate of Income Tax for any single party through the equation ,
4. Exempts those of incomes less than 250 Newpoints from paying the Federal Income Tax for only a period in which the income is less than that value,
5. Decides to begin a trial run of this taxation system, starting the first Tax Period the day following the passage of this legislation, Australian Eastern Standard Time,
6. Decides that it is the duty of the employer of any party to send, in writing to all employees, the value of their total wage for the Tax Period at the end of said period,
-A. This applies Sections 6, 7, 8 and 9 of the Federal Revenue Act 2012 to employers in notifying their employees of wage information.
