A1GS expedition returns from Indonesia

The December 2011 A1 Geographic Society Expedition to Indonesia and Lichthalzen has returned safely, with Sir. Philip Fish touching down at Melbourne International Airport yesterday.

The 10-day expedition included visits to Jakarta, Denpasar, Yogyakarta and many other places on and near the Indonesian island of Java and the A1 republic of Lichthalzen.

Premier of Lichthalzen, Mars McTavish, also participated in the expedition, but did not return with Sir. Fish as she will be staying in Indonesia for another 1-2 months.

Sir. Fish said that it had been a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

“I had a fantastic time, meeting a lot of people and seeing a lot of places”, he said.

“I would like to sincerely and unreservedly thank Mars McTavish and her family for all of their assistance provided during the expedition”.
