New Guinea expelled from OAM

The controversial micronation, New Guinea, has been expelled from the Organisation of Active Micronations, following a successful Vote of No Confidence passed today.

The Motion, proposed by the St. Charlie Delegation, was passed with over two-thirds supporting the expulsion of New Guinea, whose delegate, ‘Archangel’, had engaged in “unacceptable behaviour”, according to Secretary-General, Sir. Philip Fish.

Archangel was also removed from his post as Secretary of the OAM Recruitment Office the day before voting closed.

A dossier authored by St. Charlie Delegate, Alexander Reinhardt, and contributed to by the Egtavian Intelligence Agency (EIA) and A1 Military Intelligence (A1MI), was the starting point for the Motion, which resulted in a number of delegates being warned and temporarily banned for their behaviour.

Sir. Philip said that “…[Archangel's] further tenure as Secretary would result in degradation of the Organisation as a whole…”.

New Guinea was accused of doctoring photographs, lying about population numbers and other fraudulent activities in the thread and report, with no reliable photographic evidence ever provided by the New Guinea Delegation.
