OAM Motion of No Confidence Defeated by Narrow Margin

The Motion of No Confidence proposed by Prince Jonathan of the Empire of Austenasia against Secretary-General of the OAM, Sir. Philip Fish, has been defeated by the narrowest of margins.
The controversial move caused the longest debate in the history of the OAM, stretching over 250 posts in only a matter of days.
The final vote count was 15 votes cast in support, 15 against and one abstention.
Secretary-General, Philip Fish, said that he hoped that the outcome of the motion would “…allow everyone to just move on”.
“We have more important things to do now, so let’s get on with them”, he said.
A Motion of No Confidence proposed by Duke Bradley of Wyvern against Vice Secretary-General, Joe Foxon, was withdrawn by its author yesterday.
Many delegates are concerned over the public relations impact on the Organisation of Active Micronations, which has been subjected to much criticism from both inside and outside of the Organisation.

That seems lucky considering someone abstained. So the OAM is cleanly divided in half? It still doesn’t feel like a stable situation to me, so good luck. Hopefully, the OAM will become united again and we can put this entire incident behind us (as a community).
Excuse me, but one of the opposers changed his vote to Abstain, which means the motion passed.
If you believe that the vote count is incorrect, please raise that in the OAM, not the comments section of a news service
.
Just for the record…
