FNORD awards announced

 

The 2011 FNORD Awards resulted have been announced, with Bastion Union nations being awarded many of this year’s awards.

First Secretary Sir. Philip Fish also received the Liam conToketi Award for Most Promising New Micronationalist; it is believed to be the first ever awarded to a nation previously in the MicroWiki Sector.

The FNORD Awards are awards “…bestowed upon members of the Anglophone Simulationist Community…They are generally considered the most prestigous micronational award”, according to the MicrasWiki page.

Sir. Fish said that he was “very honoured and surprised” by the award.

“To be honest, I never thought that A1, much less myself, could be capable of an FNORD”.

Other FNORDs awarded include Most Promising New Micronation (Normark), Shane Odlum Award for Overall Achievement (Andreas the Wise) and Award for Leadership (Harvey Steffke).
