A1EC urges Chairman to bring elections forward
The Director of the A1 Electoral Commission has urged the A1 Government to “bring forward the August elections”, presumably in response to the recent events surrounding Chairman Fish. The Director, Joseph Brown, is a well-respected neutral figure in A1, and has been Director of the Commission since its inception in early 2009. Mr. Brown said that to bring forward the elections would be to “let the people choose their leader and see if this situation can’t be brought to a control [sic]“.
In response, Chairman Fish said that he would “consider the possibility” and that “coming from such a figure, we are considering this seriously”.
